Laurie Storey-Manseau began her career as a reporter and editor for leading newspapers in the northeast, including the Boston Globe, and as the editor of Adirondack Life Magazine. She then went on to lead the marketing and public relations departments for a number of organizations, including the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School and her master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. She completed a Leadership Fellowship at the Advocacy Institute in Washington, DC in 2002.
Laurie has been a guest lecturer at SUNY Plattsburgh, the University of New Hampshire, New England College, the New Hampshire Technical College and the American Marketing Association. She has won numerous awards during her career, which has spanned more than 25 years.
She is a former director of the National Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, and an anti-tobacco advocate, who has been interviewed and spoken publicly on the subject several times. She also volunteers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New Hampshire.
In 2008, Laurie was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Business by New Hampshire Business Review.
In her free time (Laurie thinks that’s funny!), she enjoys cooking and sailing along the New England coast. She and her husband, Tom Manseau, have a son.
