About Crossing the Meadow:

A strange nightmare, a young woman in a foggy city and a body buried underneath a bathtub, all converge to force an ordinary man to investigate a dark, long forgotten past.

A little girl who can see her dead cat, an old blind woman and a beautiful girl who died too young, unknowingly play a role in a game in which humanity must survive the death of the flesh.

They don't know what awaits them beyond that meadow, but they are determined to find out…

Crossing the Meadow guides you into the twilight zone where dead people brush silently past the living ones and, often without noticing, affect their fate.

Warning: Your perception of the space around you will never again be the same!

About The Odyssey Gene:

We are all discriminated against at some point in our lives. Imagine being discriminated against because of your genetic make-up. Genetic discrimination is a prejudice against those who have or are likely to develop an inherited disorder.

Kfir Luzzatto’s latest novel, The Odyssey Gene, explores the very real threat of genetic discrimination.

In his book, Dr. Luzzatto’s leading character has just discovered that he is immune to a contagious disease that once threatened to decimate Earth’s population. Now he must face Society and the grudge it nurtures against his kind. What if they took away a few of your civil rights…just enough to make you a second-rate citizen…

Discrimination is frightening enough to watch, but the effects can be terrifying when you take a stand and refuse to be blamed for your genetic make-up.

A routine test irrevocably alters a man’s life when his family and those he loves most turn on him without warning. Every person he thought he could trust has become a potential enemy who will stop at nothing to betray him and others like him.

As a child growing up in post-WWII Italy, Dr. Luzzatto’s first encounter with discrimination was through anti-Semitism. He also faced school teachers, who held stern views about “people who observe non-Christian holidays”, and later, when he and his family immigrated from Italy to Israel, he witnessed how different ethnic groups discriminate against each other. His firsthand experience with discrimination stirred his imagination in The Odyssey Gene.
